Parents become members of St John’s PTFA as soon as their child is accepted as a pupil of the school. This is a thriving group which gives parents from the whole school the opportunity to join together for a wide variety of social functions.
The Association has a hard working committee which arranges a number of social and fundraising events throughout the course of the year including:
- A November Firework Night
- A Christmas Fair
- A Wine and Wisdom Evening
- Quiz Nights
- Cocktail Evenings
- A Summer Ball
Funds raised have contributed to the advancement of facilities at the school such as:
- Outdoor Classroom
- Shared acquisition of a new School minibus.
- An adventure playground for all pupils
- Food Technology equipment
- Lighting for the Drama Studio.
